The avocado industry took home the prize on Social last year, but now it’s tied at 83 percent positives with a Doritos/Mountain Dew commercial that featured Peter Dinklage (lip synching Busta Rhymes) facing off against Morgan Freeman (lip synching Missy Elliot) in a rap battle. The commercial, which had Dinklage throwing beats so hot it set his surroundings on fire, has been claimed to confirm a Game of Thrones fan-theory by some. Other less esoteric crowd-pleasers were an NFL spot that saw Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr. recreate a Dirty Dancing scene and a Toyota ad that featured Paralympics alpine skier Lauren Woolstencroft of Canada beating the odds against childhood disability.
